Haley takes an afternoon off
Oh, the dread of a weekend almost over. Sufficient to say my to do list looms just as enormous as it did on Friday, only now I know I have only a precious few more hours before the reality of the week hits. Somehow I managed to get all my work done and emails sent by one today allotting for a rare, free afternoon. I decided to take a walk down Madison Avenue.

First, I hit up Stubbs and Wooton for a new pair of silver shoes for men, (above), which I love and can't wait for the rain to let up so I can wear. I like variety in my shoe wardrobe, so even though I tend to stick with a designer I always like to get pieces that are different from one another. These are much different then the cheetah print ones I bought in Southampton this summer. The colors are perfect for fall.
Afterwards, I needed something to eat for a late lunch so I decided to go into Eli's and get a grilled cheese, potato chips, and a latte. I also picked up the post because I plan on spending these next few hours in relaxed bliss. Though I take a day off from work I try never to take a day off from looking chic, so this afternoon my lounge attire includes silver men shoes, a grey Vince tee, and Southampton sweatshirt | comfortable, but I still feel like I can meet a friend later for a coffee without changing.
