Fun with Bubble Bags
There's no limit to the things you can use to create your arts and crafts masterpiece. While paper, clay or even bark from a tree can be used for such things, you might consider wandering off of the beaten path and making yours with bubble bags. There are many different colors of bags to choose from, making it easy to create using colors of your liking. You might try taking several different colors and twisting them into flower shapes. Then, by attaching them to wooden or plastic stems, you can create your own abstract, bubble bouquet of color. If you are an art teacher or have small children you enjoy doing things with, this is a fantastic project to work on together. This is also the perfect child-to-parent gift for the mother of father with flower allergies. A bubbly smile with no red noses.Another really fun project to share with your class or your little ones is the bubble bag quilt. This is an entire quilt made of bubble bags. Again, to keep it fun, you might want to use several different colors. Try using the larger bags for this project. You will need some yarn and a few crochet needles. The crochet needles can be used to poke the small holes in the plastic and pull the yarn through, to tie each bubble bag together. You can make this quilt as large or as small as you desire, having loads of noisy popping fun along the way. While they are quite noisy, they really are actually warm. The sense of accomplishment in little faces and shared fun will flow freely as you all work to make your own bubble bag quilts.
While you enjoy these projects and many more, maybe even thinking of some of your very own, please keep in mind that bubble bags can be very dangerous to small children if they are left unattended. There is risk of smothering or choking. Please exercise caution and make sure that all children are supervised while sharing in your bubble bag fun.
